The 2024 CrossFit season is revving up, and it’s not just the reigning champs who are stealing the spotlight. Haley Adams, a CrossFit Games mainstay, is making a comeback after a one-season hiatus.

The season kicks off on February 29, 2024, with workout 24.1, the first of three workouts in the 2024 CrossFit Open. Among the competitors are Laura Horvath and Jeffrey Adler, the reigning Fittest on Earth® champs, two-time Fittest Man on Earth® Justin Medeiros, and the legendary Tia-Clair Toomey-Orr.

But it’s Adams’ return that’s causing a stir. After taking a break in 2023 for mental health reasons, she confirmed her comeback on the Made for More podcast hosted by Reagan Davis.

“I’m planning on competing,” Adams said. “I’m very excited to give it a run again, and this time in a different mindset.”

Adams is no rookie. She’s competed in every Games since 2016, except for 2023, and has four top-10 finishes under her belt. Known for her strength in running and endurance events, she’s a force to be reckoned with in fitness.

To compete in the 2024 Games, Adams will need to rank in the top 10 percent worldwide in the Open, then be one of the top 40 Individuals in her regional Semifinal.

The 2024 CrossFit Games will take place in Fort Worth, TX, from August 8-11, 2024. With Adams back in the game, the competition is sure to be fierce.
