Many pre-workout supplements, such as Gorilla Mode Nitric, claim to increase strength, endurance, and overall energy levels to get the most out of your time at the gym.

I spent some time digging up studies on this product and going through testimonials before trying the product myself for three months to see if it lived up to its fame.

I’ve gathered all the research in this Gorilla Mode Nitric review. I’ve also included notes based on my personal experience to help you understand what to expect from this product.

Let's take a look.

What is Gorilla Mode Nitric?

A person working out in the gym with a Gorilla Mode Nitric in the foreground

From my personal experience and feedback from other users, Gorilla Mode Nitric is a dietary supplement manufactured by Gorilla Mind that claims to help users build muscle, increase strength, and improve energy levels.

Gorilla Mode Nitric Pre-Workout is a stim-free supplement that contains malic acid and nitric oxide. According to a study available on the National Institute of Health website, a stim-free workout is a supplement that doesn't contain caffeine [1].

Instead, this pre-workout improves blood circulation and power output with the help of a blend of clinically proven ingredients.

Gorilla Mode Nitric is available in a convenient powder form to mix with water or your favorite beverage.

How Does Gorilla Mode Nitric Work?

Based on first-hand experience, Gorilla Mode Nitric works well by providing the maximum dosage of several ingredients that will help you improve your endurance and stamina.

Gorilla Mode Nitroc boosts nitric oxide (NO) levels. According to a study published on the PubMed website on the effects of nitric-oxide-related supplements on human performance, it widens the blood vessels, which allows more blood to flow into the muscles [2].

This increased blood flow brings more oxygen and nutrients, which helps fuel the muscle growth process.

Ultimately, this means bigger and better gains in muscle mass and strength.

That said, it's important to note that Gorilla Mode Nitric is not a miracle drug; it will not transform you into a muscular powerhouse overnight. It takes time and hard work to see great results from pre-workout supplementation.

Pros
  • All the ingredients you need from a pre-workout are present
  • Solid increase in energy levels and vascularity
  • Hyper-hydrating effect
  • Different flavors available
Cons
  • More expensive than some of the other options on the market
  • It Doesn't mix the best and might settle at the bottom

Gorilla Mode Nitric Benefits

A person lifting weights with Gorilla Mode Nitric on the foreground

Here are the benefits I experienced thanks to Gorilla Mode Nitric's active ingredients.

1. Boost Muscle Strength And Endurance

This pre-workout formula contains the maximum clinical dose of l-citrulline, creatine, agmatine, GlycerPump, and betaine, designed to saturate muscles with blood and improve circulation.

Building muscle mass and endurance have been some of the main goals for many Nitric users.

My clients were impressed that it helped give them massive pumps and allowed them to do more reps and sets.

2. Increase Energy Levels

Nitric pre-workout supplement helps get you started on your fitness journey by increasing your energy levels.

Its unique formula includes ingredients even more efficient than the ones used in Gorilla Mode and with a slightly higher dosage.

Creatine supplementation is one of the most effective performance-enhancing supplements outside of exogenous hormones and drugs.

3. Enhance Focus and Mental Acuity

A person focused on workout with Gorilla Mode Nitric on the top left

Thanks to Nitrosigine, one of the Nitric ingredients, Nitric can increase levels of Nitric Oxide in the body and improve mental acuity and focus.

Most users reported that it helped them get great focus and increased mental concentration in the gym. But what impressed us the most was the notable impact on performance results for clients who took it correctly for weeks.

After a comparative analysis, our team decided that Gorilla Mode was the best pre-workout supplement when it comes to improving focus, thanks to ingredients like caffeine, Kanna, N-Phenethyl Dimethylamine Citrate, and Huperzine A.

However, the efficacy of all workout supplements depends on the person's particular goals and fitness level.

“People with health conditions, such as diabetes, insomnia, anxiety, or heart conditions, may wish to consider how the ingredients of pre-workouts may affect them and seek medical advice before taking these products.”

- Cara Williams, Writer at Medical News Today

I tested Nitric with my gym clients and saw up to 50% improvement in their pumps. Other positive effects could include more popping veins during training.

Even though Gorilla Mode Nitric is a stimulant-free pre-workout, I would still recommend cycling every once in a while to get the best long-term results.

Generally, I advise my clients to replace it with any supplement that isn’t being utilized daily to replace a dietary deficiency.

Gorilla Mode Nitric Side Effects

A person lifting weights with Gorilla Mode Nitric on the top left of the image

You shouldn’t be worried since Nitric is a non-stim pre-workout. My team and I did not experience any side effects from using it.

Generally, the most common pre workout's side effect is itchiness because of beta-alanine, but this ingredient isn’t included in this formula.

However, as I pored over countless user testimonials, some users reported getting diarrhea or constant urges to pass a stool when exceeding the recommended dose.

Some individuals also claimed they got headaches, dizziness, and poor sleep after double scooping Gorilla Mode Nitric.

If you experience any of these side effects, it is recommended that you stop taking the supplement and see a doctor.

Gorilla Mode Nitric Ingredients

Gorilla Mode owner and fitness influencer Derek from “More Plates More Dates” explains that Gorilla Mode Nitric is made from an unmatched stimulant-free pre-workout formula. It features the maximum effective dosages of:

Creatine Monohydrate

Gorilla Mode Nitric has 5 grams of creatine monohydrate. It is one of the most popular natural supplements thanks to its effects.

Research has shown that creatine supplementation can increase strength, fat-free mass, and muscle morphology [3].

However, I’ve noticed that the benefits of supplementing with creatine decrease as the time spent exercising increases.

Glycerpump

Gorilla Mode Nitric has 4 grams of Glycerpump. It can help you have better endurance by increasing the oxygen your muscles can use during exercise.

This is because Glycerpump helps improve the transport of oxygen from your red blood cells to your muscles.

Additionally, Glycerpump can help improve exercise performance by reducing the amount of lactic acid buildup produced during exercise.

Lactic acid is a waste product that builds up in muscles and causes fatigue [4].

Malic Acid

Gorilla Mode Nitric has 3 grams of malic acid. It is an alpha-hydroxy acid said to offer multiple benefits. It is produced naturally in the body when carbohydrates are transformed into energy [5].

A study revealed that malic acid combined with physical training significantly increased energy production [6]. It also improves the body’s absorption of creatine.

Betaine

Close up shot of Betaine with Gorilla Mode Nitric in the top left

Gorilla Mode Nitric has 4 grams of betaine, also known as Trimethylglycine. Gorilla Mind included this formula because it can help improve intracellular hyper-hydration in cells.

Research has shown that supplementing with betaine may decrease the risk of cardiovascular disease and improve digestion and liver function [7].

Other research indicated that a pre-workout supplement with betaine would also help increase endurance, fat loss, and muscle growth.

Agmatine

Gorilla Mode Nitric contains 1500mg of agmatine, a metabolite of L-arginine. It is believed to act as a neurotransmitter and neuromodulator.

It has been shown to increase nitric oxide production, oxygen delivery, and muscle function during exercise [8].

Agmatine may also help to suppress pain receptors, which can cause reduced pain following prolonged exercise. Altogether, these mechanisms suggest that agmatine can help you perform better during endurance-based activities.

Nitrosigine

Gorilla Mind seeks to help gym enthusiasts increase flow mediation dilation with 1500mg of Nitrosigine.

The dietary supplement ingredient works by increasing levels of Nitric Oxide (NO) in the body, which leads to improved blood circulation and enhanced cognitive function [9].

Sodium Nitrate

Some research proves that sodium nitrate can help boost performance. That said, Gorilla Mode Nitric has 1500 mg of sodium.

So if you're looking for a pump supplement, you should check if it has nitrate. But be warned: it may not taste great, but it could just help you get an edge on the competition [10].

VasoDrive-AP

VasoDrive-AP with Gorilla Mode Nitric in the top left

It's hard to say whether or not VasoDrive-Ap would directly boost performance since there isn't much clinical data on the supplement.

However, some experts suggest that it could benefit people with lower levels of ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) [11].

This enzyme is responsible for regulating blood circulation, so taking a VasoDrive-Ap supplement may help improve your cardiovascular health and overall performance if you have less of it.

L-citrulline

Gorilla Mode Nitric contains a high dose of l citrulline (10 grams). It is one of the three amino acids in the ornithine cycle.

Research has shown that pure l citrulline may be helpful in situations in which nitric oxide production is relevant, like athletic performance and vascular health.

“Citrulline is meant to improve blood flow during exercise, resulting in enhanced muscle building. Keep in mind that this increase in blood flow affects your brain as well as your muscles, leading some people to experience headaches and migraines.”

- Daniel Preiato, Dietitian & Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist At Healthline

It has been scientifically proven that L-citrulline reduces blood pressure and improves blood circulation, especially in individuals with cardiovascular problems [12].

This ultimately leads to better power output and mind-muscle connection.

However, citrulline malate cannot help well-trained athletes perform better [13].

Flavor

A woman drinking from a tumbler with Gorilla Mode Nitric in the foreground

Gorilla Mode Nitric has a similar choice of flavors to Gorilla Mode:

  1. Firefly Lemonade  - A hard-tasting sour but sweet lemonade
  2. Cherry Blackout - Black Cherry
  3. Volcano Burst - Orange, Pineapple, and Mango
  4. Lemon Lime - A mix of lemon and lime
  5. Mouth Watering Watermelon - Sweet Watermelon
  6. Jungle Juice - Coconut, Pineapple, and Mango
  7. Mojo Mojito - A Mojito like the famous cocktail
  8. Fruit Punch - A concoction of many different fruits
  9. Bombsicle - Cherry, Lime, and Blue Raspberry
  10. Tiger's Blood - Coconut, Watermelon, and Strawberry
  11. Mango Peach - Mango and Peach
  12. Nitric Variety Pack

With 5 grams of creatine monohydrate, I was expecting an awful taste. But I was pleasantly surprised; the flavor I tried was Tiger's Blood, which tasted pretty well.

However, my client ordered Fruit Punch, and it was too sweet. But it’s still among the best-tasting pre-workouts I’ve ever tried.

What's the Bioavability of Ingredients

Bioavailability refers to the proportion of a nutrient or supplement that enters the bloodstream when introduced into the body and is therefore able to have an active effect.

One key ingredient in Gorilla Mode Nitric is L-Citrulline, a non-essential amino acid known for its role in boosting nitric oxide levels in the body.

Nitric oxide is crucial for dilating blood vessels, which improves blood flow and, consequently, muscle oxygenation during exercise. The high bioavailability of L-Citrulline in Gorilla Mode Nitric ensures that users get the most out of this potent ingredient.

Who Should Take Nitric Pre-Workout?

Anyone who is looking for a legal non-hormonal pre-workout or wants to balance their circadian rhythm and increase energy before working out should take Nitric pre-workout.

It might also be suitable for anyone who wants to improve their overall health because this product doesn’t contain invasive ingredients but still has a good nutrient-carrying capacity.

Who Shouldn’t Take Nitric Pre-workout?

Anyone who suffers from heart conditions shouldn’t take Nitric pre-workout. Some of the ingredients might increase your heart rate.

Therefore, discussing their use with a doctor before taking them is crucial.

A study focusing on the effects of multi-ingredient pre-workout supplements (MIPS) on active females noticed that pre-workouts did not significantly increase heart rate and systolic blood pressure in participants but did increase diastolic blood pressure [14].

How to Use Gorilla Mode Nitric?

A person drinking from a tumbler with Gorilla Mode Nitric in the foreground

You use Gorilla Mode Nitric by mixing 1-2 scoops of Gorilla Mode Nitric in 12–14 ounces of water and drinking it 30–60 minutes before you work out.

That way, you give the ingredients enough time to kick in.

You may want to vary the amount of water until you get your desired flavor level.

If you’re using it for the first time, begin with 1/2-1 scoop or less to evaluate tolerance.

Do not exceed two scoops within a 24-hour period. I took one scoop, and the tub lasted for two months for me.

Shipping and Delivery

A person looking at his phone in the gym with gorilla mode nitric in the foreground

Customers who purchase the Gorilla Mode Nitric will get it in max 2 business days. However, it might take up to 10 business days for customers outside the U.S.

It was delivered to my doorstep the next day after I ordered on their website. Orders placed during promotional periods, such as Black Friday, might require additional time.

You can track your shipment status online.

Gorilla Mind offers a 30-day return of any unwanted items. However, the products should be unused and must still be in the original packaging to receive a refund.

I've seen individuals complain about containers that have burst. However, from my experience, the product arrived whole without any issues in only one day.

Users’ Testimonials

A person looking at the phone in the gym

I looked at some of the Gorilla Mode Nitric pre-workout reviews online comments to see if this product has benefits consistent with what they advertise. Let me summarize a few customer testimonials.

He found that Gorilla Mode Nitric is an amazingly dosed pre-workout and that it hits all the markers you need per recommended serving. It made him feel hyper-focused without feeling stimmed out of his mind.

- Travis, United States

He found that the watermelon flavor tastes great, the effects are really nice, and his cardio is not affected, unlike the ones with a stimulant. He discovered that there were already some changes in his body after two weeks.

- Verleyen, United States

This is one of the customers who didn’t like the product’s texture. He thinks that it can sometimes taste chalky.

Gorilla Mode Nitric vs. Other Pre-Workout Supplements

Two women in the gym looking at a phone screen

We analyzed the data from our testing and compared it to 3 products that usually provide impressive results. Here are some differences.

Gorilla Mode

I decided to run a few tests to see if Gorilla Mode ingredients are easier to mix compared to Gorilla Mode Nitric. I found that the second one actually requires more stirring because of the clumping issue.

So if you're looking for an easy-to-mix pre-workout, Gorilla Mode is the way to go. Otherwise, they're both pretty straightforward to make - just add water and drink.

Other Gorilla Products:

4 Gauge

The 4 Gauge contains some ingredients that are missing from Gorilla Mode Nitric. It has a clever combination of caffeine and L-Theanine. However, they kept a lower dose of caffeine to avoid jitters and heart palpitations.

L-Theanine is shown to improve mental focus when mixed with caffeine [15]. But if you’re sensitive to these ingredients, Gorilla Mode Nitric is a better option.

Transparent Labs Preseries

If you’re looking for a stim-free pre-workout with beta-alanine, I recommend Transparent Labs Preseries.

A study has shown that Beta-alanine can boost endurance after 23 days of supplementation [16].

The variety of flavors and the hyper-hydrating effect are significant pluses, although it's priced higher than some alternatives.
