As a certified personal trainer, I have numerous friends in the fitness world, and we can get into pretty spirited debates about who makes the list of sexiest athletes. Recently, we were discussing sexy male skiers.

Though we may not always agree with who should be on the list, we do agree that to compete at a high level in any sport requires top-notch fitness, both physically and mentally.

After much discussion, our group came up with a list of who we felt were the fittest and sexiest male skiers.  Read on to see if you agree with who we picked.

Our list of Hot Male Skiers

We reached into the rich history of male skiing to handpick the hottest skiers from yesterday and today, and here they are.

13. Mike Shea

Having followed Mike's journey closely, I can attest to his incredible resilience and allure. His Instagram is a testament to this, where his captivating photos showcase not just his athletic prowess but also his inspiring comeback story.

This 32-year-old SoCal native isn't just a pretty face; he's a warrior. After losing his lower leg in 2002, Mike was back on a board in just two months, eventually clinching a silver medal at the Sochi 2014 games.

According to the study from the National Center for Biotechnology Information website, injuries of the lower extremities are the most common alpine skiing–related injuries [1].

According to the same study, ligamentous injury to the knee is by far the most common, with either the MCL or ACL depicted as the most commonly damaged ligament, accounting for 10% to 33% of all skiing-related injuries.

12. Bobby Brown

Shredding the mountains with his ripped physique, Bobby Brown, in his early days, was known as skiing’s “teenage heartthrob.”

Accurate for sure with his dark hair and dreamy eyes, but not a name this Big Air gold medalist wanted to stick for long.

According to another study from the PubMed website, an overall injury rate of approximately 3 per 1000 skier days means that skiing certainly is the riskiest sport undertaken by adults on a routine basis [2].

11. TJ Schiller

TJ Schiller is a handsome, adventurous freestyle skier from Canada. He won gold in Aspen in 2009 in slopestyle and a silver medal the following year in Big Air.

Schiller is good-looking enough with his 5’11” toned body and dashing smile to appear in a Paul Mitchell ad that is memorable for some fans to this day.

10. Alex Schlopy

Look at Alex Schlopy’s Instagram page, and you’ll know precisely why he is on this list.

With dreamy blue eyes and a big smile, no doubt there will be a long line of ladies at the terrain park to catch a glimpse of this Big Air top competitor.

9. Matthias Mayer

I've had the chance to watch Matthias Mayer in action, and he truly is a sight to behold – a four-time Olympic medalist whose skill and charisma on the slopes are as striking as his blonde hair and blue eyes.

He likes to adventure off the slopes by water-skiing, paddleboarding, and fishing in Austria’s beautiful outdoors.

8. Rory Bushfield

Rory Bushfield's adventurous spirit resonates with me deeply, as someone who also lives for the thrill of skiing and outdoor adventures. His determination and zest for life are as admirable as his athletic abilities.

He is a single-engine pilot, halfpipe medalist, and 2005 World Champion in the halfpipe.

He started the Sarah Burke Foundation in memory of his late wife to become partners with young winter athletes through scholarships; seven of those recipients competed in the 2022 Winter Olympics.

7. Bode Miller

This 6’2” former World Cup and Olympic-winning alpine racer is, perhaps, one of this list's most well-known and successful American skiers.

His last race was in 2017, and he was inducted into the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame in 2018, making his career complete.

“Once the season starts for me, there isn't a change in my focus, just a change in my tactics and strategies.”

- Bode Miller, Alpine Racer

6. Torin Yater-Wallace

Along with his 5’9” well-defined body, Torin Yater-Wallace’s career is hot too.

He has won silver at the FIS Freestyle World Championships in the halfpipe and silver and bronze medals in the superpipe in Aspen, his hometown.

He also succeeded on another continent, finishing first in Superpipe in Europe.

5. Jacob Wester

Standing at six feet with a muscular build, this sexy Swedish skier finished on top in Big Air in Aspen in 2009. He has had podium finishes in Slopestyle and Big Air events.

When he is not tearing up the snow, he enjoys surfing, figure skating, and fishing and is a budding tattoo artist.

4. Matt Margetts

Matt Margetts represented Canada in the 2014 Winter Olympics in halfpipe events but did not make the podium.

As if his long hair and chiseled body aren’t hot enough, Matt Margetts is a bit of a wild child and has adventurous style with his amazing double flat spins.

3. Jonathon Lillis

Of the skiers on the list, Jonathon Lillis is one of the strongest mentally and physically and is a men’s aerials gold medalist in Sierra Nevada, Spain.

Along with his strength, his radiant smile and fit body got him near the top of our list.

He placed 8th in aerials at the 2018 Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

2. Marcel Hirscher

Growing up surrounded by the mountains of Austria, it is not surprising that Marcel Hirscher grew up to be a World Cup skier and Olympic gold medalist.

He’s got intense blue eyes and a great smile. We’ve seen his style in various haircuts and beard lengths, and we find all of them hot, which is why he is #2 on our list.

1. James Clugnet

On skis since the day he could stand, James Clugnet has been cross-country ski racing since the age of ten.

Growing up skiing the mountains of France, he made his World Cup debut in 2017. Clugnet competed in the 2022 Winter Olympic games in the sprint.

Though he has yet to have a podium finish or World Cup title, his fans will be happy to know his ski career is young, and he will be gracing the competition scene and driving the ladies mad with his long wavy blonde hair and infectious smile for years.
