As a personal trainer with years of experience, I’ve noticed that celebrity weight loss transformations can inspire my clients.

All this pushed her to lose weight and transform her physique.

We also think that since Grace Kinstler was extremely overweight, health issues may have also pushed her to want to lose weight.

Many people speculate this because she seemed to have reduced her waist while maintaining fairly wide hips.

While her current physique may indicate signs of surgery (heavy hips and a skinny waist), we can't know if she actually went through surgery for sure.

I’ve heard many fans claiming that Grace Kinstler also underwent plastic surgery multiple times to tone her face.

But, based on my observation and of my colleagues, it seems that her current facial features are a result of her weight loss.

Grace Kinstler Weight Loss Diet and Workout

There’s no public information on what the American Idol celebrity exactly did to lose weight, but based on her appearance, we can make some educated assumptions.

Given that she currently doesn’t have much muscle definition, she probably did a lot of dieting without a lot of protein, and chances are, she didn’t do weight training for weight loss enough or at all.

Since Grace lost around 60 pounds, she most likely did a good deal of cardio in addition to a highly restrictive diet.

Given the time frame and her fat distribution, our dietitian thinks she could have opted for a low-carb diet with overall calorie restriction and a time-restricted feeding regimen like intermittent fasting.

Naturally Shedding Pounds

It's crucial that one tries to lose weight as naturally as possible to avoid certain risks that come with invasive procedures and preserve health in the long term.

While surgery can be a last resort option, losing fat naturally is safer and more effective, and it gives you a sense of accomplishment, which can be important for motivation and keeping the momentum going.

Here are healthy habits to naturally shred fat so you can drop weight like Grace Kinstler.

Drink Plenty of Water

An article on WebMD shows that staying amply hydrated is one of the best ways to increase your metabolism and burn fat [1].

Drinking water also helps you feel more satiated, making it easier to avoid snacking when you get cravings.

I can't stress enough how crucial hydration has been in the weight loss journey of my clients. Drinking plenty of water not only boosted their metabolism, but also helped them manage hunger pangs more effectively.

Get Quality Sleep

Getting quality sleep is one of the most effective ways you can begin to burn fat. It’s not so much that good sleep in itself helps you burn fat. Another article on WebMD says that not getting enough sleep at night can hamper your metabolism and, by extension, your overall fat loss [2].

Plus, according to a study in the National Library of Medicine, if you’re working out, sleep helps your muscles recover from fatigue, which allows you to exercise at full capacity the next day [3].

Eat Healthy Foods

Most fitness experts will tell you that diet is just as important as exercise when it comes to weight loss, if not even more.

Eat a diet that’s high in protein and fats and low in carbs for the most effective weight loss.

Also, part of healthy eating is avoiding processed foods and empty calories.

These kinds of foods will only lead to unnecessary weight gain without adding any value to muscle growth or overall metabolism.

Exercise Regularly

Your exercise routine doesn’t have to be rigorous. An article in Medical News Today shows that you can lose fat by doing around 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise every week [4].

Reflecting on my client's journey, we found that even 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise weekly can lead to significant fat loss. This approach was a game-changer for her, especially in the early stages.

We also recommend adding weight training to your routine to build lean muscle and lose weight fast.
