But, what if the real heat of the game lies not just in the action but in the unexpected strength and beauty of the athlete?
As a fitness coach with years of experience, I dove into the world of the hottest female hockey players and discovered a side of the sport I never knew existed.

Left-winger Susanna Tapani is a Finnish multi-sport athlete who competes in ice hockey, in-line hockey, and ringette.

She played in the 2014 Sochi Olympics and briefly played for the University of North Dakota. Suski, as she's nicknamed, won two bronze medals with the Finnish women's national sides at the 2011 and 2015 World Championships.
19. Alexandra Vafina
Alexandra Vafina is an ice hockey player for SKIF Nizhny Novgorod. Nicknamed Sasha, she was selected for the Russian national team in the 2010 Winter Olympics and represented Russia at 10 IIHF Women's World Championships.
Vafina was part of Russia's gold medal-winning team at the 2015 Winter Universiade in Granada, Spain.
Her skills on the rink are only matched by her incredible smile and flawless skin.

Kelly Terry is a former women's ice hockey forward who played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. She debuted with the Canada women's national hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.

Annie Pankowski is an American women's ice hockey player with the PWHPA and the United State's women's national ice hockey team.
Her dedication to her sport is something I admire deeply as a personal trainer. While I don't have a background in hockey, the discipline and commitment Annie shows are qualities I instill in my clients.

Viona Harrer is a German ice hockey defender. She's been playing competitive hockey for over ten years. She was named top goaltender at the 2009 Women's 4 Nations Tournament held in Slovakia.
Vionna Harrer has not only played with women but also in the professional men's league. Her most prominent features are her innocent smile and sharp chin.
14. Meeri Räisänen
Meeri Räisänen is an ice hockey goaltender and a Finnish women's national team member, playing with the men's U20 Mestis.
She won bronze medals at the 2018 and 2022 Winter Olympics and the 2015 and 2021 World Championships.

She was selected for the Russian women's national hockey team in the 2014 Winter Olympics and has been stealing hearts ever since. Her bold eyebrows and soft, pink lips make her a sight for sore eyes.
12. Jessica Campbell
Jessica Campbell is a Canadian ice hockey player for the Malmö Redhawks of the Damettan. This breathtaking forward made her debut with the Canadian women's national ice hockey team at the 2014 4 Nations Cup.

She was the first-ever rookie to be captain when she led her team at the 2014 Canadian Women's Hockey League All-Star Game.
Her most recent victory was bagging two silver medals at the 2015 4 Nations Cup and 2015 World Championships. And her most notable physical attributes are her strong abs and upper back, both of which are highlighted when she's figure skating.
11. Hilary Knight
The USA brings us another gorgeous ice hockey forward, Hilary Knight. She plays with the PWHPA and the United States national team.

The following year, she led them to victory at the National Championship. She won seven IIHF World Championship golds with the US national team and another at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Off the ice, Hilary is an advocate for gender equality, using her platform to inspire the next generation of female athletes.
10. Valentina Lizana Wallner
Valentina Wallner is a former Swedish hockey goaltender and coach. She was chosen to play for the Swedish national team at the 2010 Winter Olympics but did not play.

Wallner also played for Sweden at the 2014 Olympics in Sochi. Watching her in action is fun, but it's so easy to get lost in her eyes and rosy cheeks once the cameras zoom in.
9. Eveliina Mäkinen
Eveliina Mäkinen plays a goaltender for the Finnish national team and is currently with Brynäs IF Dam of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL).

4. Erika Grahm
Erika is a retired ice hockey forward and current general manager of Brynäs IF Dam in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL).
She was a two-time Olympian during her career with the Swedish national ice hockey team and the fourth-highest scorer in the history of the SDHL.
Even though we can't admire her on the rink, we get to see her cute smile and button nose when she comments on TSM.
3. Presley Norby
Presley Norby is one of the youngest and most beautiful female hockey players to grace our list.

2. Tanja Eisenschmid
Tanja Eisenschmid is a German ice hockey defenseman who plays for the Minnesota Whitecaps and the German women's national hockey team.
She was part of the German team that competed in the 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship and the 2014 Olympics.
She's also a marketing intern for the University of North Dakota's television show, Studio One. She has one of the cutest smiles and deep, beautiful eyes.

On top of our list of the hottest female hockey players is Russian goalie Anna Prugova.
She plays goaltender for the Russian national team. At the age of 16, this Russian beauty represented her country at the 2010 Winter Olympics—the youngest woman competing in ice hockey at the time.
