I don’t think anything triggers more debates in the office than coming up with a fat burning diet plan for our clients who want to lose weight.
Fat burner supplements have become very popular, and we’ve been discussing the benefits of PhenElite vs Phen375 for a few months now.
The only way we were able to settle it was with some client test results as well as the input from some trusted nutritionists.
Here’s what we found.
What Is PhenElite?
PhenElite is a fat burner pill that combines ingredients that claim to also be the best way to suppress hunger cravings.
The company says that it’s a safe, quick weight loss pill that directly targets stubborn fat cells.
We’ll get to the ingredients shortly, but it looks like an entirely herbal-based blend that aims to trigger specific responses in your metabolism. And by boosting those processes, it should result in a leaner body.
Or at least that’s the claim.
The formula has been designed to suit both men and women. And along with the physical boost of energy, it should also help to improve your mood and mental wellbeing.
We have seen it successfully used in diet plans for women and men, where both genders were able to achieve a reduction in body fat.
But the question is how it compares to Phen375.
What Is Phen375?
Phen375 is a diet pill that aims to boost your metabolism while suppressing your hunger at the same time.
It doesn’t claim to be a miracle product that ensures fast weight loss while you demolish a box of donuts on the couch.
Instead, it’s goal is to support your healthy diet and exercise plan and cut fat naturally in the process.
The company has based the formula on scientific evidence that by reducing your calorie intake and releasing more energy from fat cells, it should lead to a sustainable level of weight reduction.
It also seems to give people a nice boost in motivation from the extra endurance and seeing results in their body shape faster than they have before.
All the ingredients have also been chosen with scientific backing to it, which our nutritionist spent a lot of time to analyze.
List Of Common Ingredients
Surprisingly, these products only had one ingredient that was the same. That could explain a lot of the differences we saw in results.
1 - Caffeine
This is mostly sourced from coffee bean extract, and it’s a known thermogenic . That means it slightly raises your body temperature by burning off some excess fat.
List of Unique Ingredients
Here’s where things got interesting.
1 - Raspberry Ketones
Raspberry ketones have been shown to help boost your brain energy to make you more focused. It might also support your motivation.
2 - African Mango Extract
Several studies have been conducted on taking African mango immediately before eating food. There have been some promising results for getting rid of fat.
3 - Acai Fruit
The science on this ingredient is still a bit mixed. Studies have not been conclusive about the claims are that it might suppress your appetite or burn fat .
4 - Green Tea Extract
Green tea extract has been heavily studied over the years, and it’s a known antioxidant. But what many people don’t realize is that it could also help to boost your metabolic rate to burn off more calories.
5 - Resveratrol
The only studies we could find on this were conducted on mice. For us, that’s not enough to make it a suitably recommended ingredient.
6 - Apple Cider Vinegar
ACV is something that many people take in liquid form to help with digestive issues. But it’s also known to help with detox and metabolic increases.
7 - Kelp
This supposedly has been included as an appetite suppressant. However, scientific studies are not conclusive, and there are better ingredients available to deal with hunger.
8 - Grapefruit Powder
The final ingredient to cover is grapefruit powder, and this does have some scientific backing for dealing with hunger as well as boosting your fat-burning processes.
1 - L-Carnitine
This amino acid is an ingredient that you’ll find in many pre and post-workout shakes. Research has shown that it plays a key role in delivering energy to all cells in your body.
This is mainly achieved through releasing stored body fat, which is why we think this is a good ingredient to be included.
You can check out the best l-carnitine supplements here.
2 - Coleus Forskohlii Root
This natural herb is common in health food stores these days. For a while, people believed it helped suppress hunger.
But recent studies point more towards a role in producing enzymes to aid in better fat processing.
3 - Citrus Aurantium
This was a new ingredient I hadn’t heard of. But our nutritionist was able to confirm that it might be a good sign that this product would support fat metabolization.
By triggering thermogenic processes, studies were able to confirm that it’s suitable for use in diet pills .
4 - Cayenne Pepper
Don’t worry; your mouth isn’t going to be on fire after taking these pills.
This is possibly one of the oldest known thermogenic ingredients, and by including it as an extract, you shouldn’t notice any aftertaste from it.
“Red cayenne pepper may help burn calories and curb appetite, especially in people who aren’t used to eating it.”
- Brenda Goodman, staff writer for WebMD
5 - Dendrobium Nobile Extract
Here’s another ingredient we had to check with our nutritionist, who pointed out that it’s included for its help in boosting digestion.
The idea is that by processing macronutrients more effectively, you should be able to interrupt some of the normal responses that store fat in the first place.
6 - Chromium
This mineral has popped up a lot more in the weight loss industry. According to some studies, it might play a role in balancing your blood sugar levels.
This would reduce the sudden spikes you might get that ultimately lead to craving snacks.
Do They Have Any Side Effects?
This should always be a question you research for all supplements you take. Side effects from certain ingredients might not be common, but if there are any, then you’d want to know what to look out for.
We had a dietitian look at all the ingredients, and her assessment was that they would generally be classified as safe.
What does that mean?
Basically, you should be fine to use them in the recommended dose, but it’s not advisable to increase your daily intake.
We did note a few people comment online that they got some bloating, but these were all people who had a sensitive stomach to start with.
Phenelite vs Phen375: Which One Should You Buy?
We were delighted when our testing was able to finally settle the PhenElite vs Phen375 debate.
Our analysis of the ingredients highlighted that Phen375 would have a better formula with more scientific backing for it to help you lose weight.
However, if choosing the most effective fat burning product out there, the one with which our clients were able to achieve faster and better results, we'd have to say PhenQ.
It wasn't part of this battle, true, but it's still holding the throne of the fat burner supplements we've tested and recommended.
